Hello
I do not understand, I recreated my database with version 5.6, with the same icons and categories with version 5.5.
After the import RNS510, I have no icons that I selected is displayed in map?

concerning 5.6
I created a v8 iso with pois but when reopening the iso with 5.6 i see none.
The language i selected has'nt changed in the INFO25.PSC file but when i load it in english language the pois do'nt show up either.
With v7.2 this program worked fine but with the v8 not for me

Small problem with POInspector. It reads the V8 map with no problem at all, but when it is necessary to compile V8 map and added POI, it does not work.

The cause, the passage in capital letter of the name of the directory containing the POI.
- > in V7.x, its name is: nscWeu_eu_20100805
- > in V8, its name is: NSCWEU_EU_20110721
With V8, POInspector 5.6 creates this directory under the name: nscWeu_eu_20110721.

The solution: just before burning DVD or create ISO file with POInspector, rename the directory nscWeu_eu_20110721 as NSCWEU_EU_20110721. This directory is in "localsave" directory.

Thanks to cazlamn,
I burned 4 DVDs just to throw them away, I thought it was my fault. Now I know, what to do! Thank you, I will give it another try!

cazlamn is wrong!
POIinspector doesn't rename NSCWEU_EU_20110721, there must be another fault, no Pois in my maps!!

All is OK for me. My V8 DVD map (single layer without EDB directory) with my personal POI works fine. After adding POI with POInspector 5.6 you must close it. Go to original V8 DVD map and copy the exact mane of directory "NSCWEU_EU_20110721". Go on HDD directory and paste this mane on directory "nscWeu_eu_20110721" created by POInspector. This directory is under the directory mane "localsave". After that, open POInspector, check if all is OK and burn DVD.

Cazlamn, have you created categories or just Pois?

I created categories with the new V8 map found in the net with POIinspect0r 5.6. I tried different ways (single Layer without EDB):
At first I created ISO with POIinsp. (leaves "NSCEU...) Didn't work!
Copied directory - as you did ("nscEU...), didn't work.
Changed language in Info25.psc to German (TPD-DEF 4), didn't work.
Everything was fine with an older version of POIinspect0r and V7 West.
